As a part of International Women’s Day Celebration, an awareness program on ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Cyber Crime Prevention’ was organized on March 7, 2025. The speaker was Dr Kashyap Joshi from Cyber Security Department, Gujarat University. Dr Kashyap Joshi delivered a very informative talk with examples of cybercrime, common types of cyberattacks (like hacking, phishing, and malware), and the steps individuals and organizations can take to prevent and mitigate these risks. It included information on the legal aspects of cybercrime and how to report cybercrime incidents. All GCRI staff participated in the event.
